TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

My teaching philosophy is one of engagement. My definition of engagement means active involvement. Subsequently, I want my students to engage with the course materials, other students in the class, and me. We will all learn from each other and engage interactively with the course material. I have zero tolerance for insensitivity towards others based on race, sexual orientation, disability, or socioeconomic status. I aim to foster an environment where independent thinkers can think critically and openly discuss their thoughts. Yet, respect for others must always be maintained.
